Itinerary

Day 1 (Sundays)

• We will pick you up anywhere in Antigua around 7:30 am
• Stop in Rio Dulce for lunch* around 12:30 pm, depart for Hot Spring at 2 pm
• Drive 25 minutes along Lake Izabal to Finca Paraíso Hot Spring
• Soak in the river, feel the cascading hot waters, depart for Oasis Chiyú at 4 pm
• Arrive to Oasis Chiyú Lodge at 6 pm, dinner around 7:30 pm                (approximately 8 hours drive in total )

Day 2 (Mondays)

• Breakfast at Oasis between 7:30-9:30 am
• Free time to swim, kayak and enjoy exploring the area
• Depart to Las Conchas Waterfall at 11 am
• Hike in Petén Rainforest, swim in the pools, 10 m cliff jumps (weather permitting), eat lunch at the Park, visit Setal & Las Conchas Communities (walk 2+ hours in total)
• Dinner (7:30), campfire, rest and relaxation back at Oasis

Day 3 (Tuesdays)

• Breakfast at Oasis Chiyú between 7:30-9:30 am
• Free time to swim, kayak and enjoy exploring the area
• Drive 30 minutes to Setzol Caves, arriving to Setzol Communitiy around 11:00 am
• Hike 30 minutes to Setzol Caves, swim in the Chiyú River, go caving, eat lunch and visit the home of a family (walk around 2 hours, cave 1 hour ), drive back to Oasis
• Dinner (7:30 pm), campfire, rest and relaxation back at Oasis 

Day 4 (Wednesdays)

• Breakfast at Oasis Chiyú at 6:30 am
• Depart for La Antiga at 7 am, time for lunch* (7 hours driving time in total) 

 
Travellers always have the option to head north to Flores/Tikal from Cadenas, stay in Rio Dulce and ride to Livingston on the 9:30 am or 1:30 pm collective boat, or, travel onward to many top destinations:  Bay Islands or Copan, Honduras, Cobán, Lanquín/Semuc Champey or wherever your heart desires.
 
*Not included:  2 lunches, ($2-$2o/meal), Entrance fees at Las Conchas Park of $3 Nationals/$5 Internationals, $1 at Hot springs, drinks.
