Welcome to Oasis Chiyú, Chahal, Alta VeraPaz, Guatemala, Central America. Located at the end of the road in Las Conchas Community (next to the soccer field), Oasis Chiyú is a privately owned farm and family run Eco-Lodge. At Oasis, the Chiyú River flows past wild vegetation, beaches, & native trees as cascades fall over limestone islands filling deep natural pools. There are waterfalls, springs, open space, flowers, gardens, and the lush views are extraordinarily green. The nature is truly supreme!
Eco-Lodge
The Eco-Lodge at Oasis Chiyú has 3 cozy rooms [now!- with electricity]. Guests share the common area, a kitchen, yoga/rest area, showers, laundry area, and compost toilets. The nights are cool, breezy and very peaceful and romantic. Enjoy meals in the open air dining area and chill out with some drinks at the bar or in a hammock. There are tours, activities plus a personal paradise to discover, explore and enjoy!
The tropical climate in Las Conchas (240m) is warm and lovely all year, the driest time is between February and May. Rain is unpredictable and the sun shines most days.

Food and Drink
Our slow food cuisine is homemade with love and will surely please the senses. The vegetarian/vegan meals are healthy, nutitional and delicious using a vatiety of tasty whole ingredients, grains and locally sourced fresh organic seasonal fruits and vegetables, plus edibles from our gardens.
We have Coffee and Cocao (grown locally, roasted in house and ground by hand), Ramón, herbal tea, Lattes, tamarindo, coconut water, cold beers, Margaritas (fresh lime/100% Agave), Cosmos, Gin & Cuba Libres, wine and cola -all at reasonable prices.
Please allow us one day advanced notice as to what meals you would like to consume or feel free to bring your own food (there is a kitchen for guests to use-gas and wood burning stove).
Please inform our chef of any dietary needs or allergies.
